Take Away Idea

Instead of a booklet or pamphlet, I had the idea of a box of conversation starter cookies. The cookies could be filled with blank paper so students can fill them in themselves with any topic they choose (doesn’t have to be about sexual violence). That way participants can then have these conversations with their friends and family (a safe environment with people they trust). The box would also contain a sheet of paper with resources for more information and places to get professional help.

Sonder.com

While finalising my presentation I googled “Sonder” to find the exact definition and stumbled across sonder.com. This is a hotel booking website in the US which has a very similar logo to the one I designed. It is the name Sonder in capital letters, with a sans serif typeface. This is frustrating, but as it is week 12 it is too late to change my logo. The website was made in 2019, and I didn’t see it the first time I was googling “sonder” while finding a name my event, so it must be a recent website that was launched sometime during the last few months. I am hoping that my style and typeface help to distance myself from this other logo, and that my previous logo concepts help to prove I had no idea about this company or their logo design.
